Trade Specific Carpenters

• Capable of being on the tools and taking on supervisory / leadership role

Attributes:

1. Should cross over to other building elements – cladding, windows, internal works, roofing etc.
2. Demonstrate ability to take whole or part supervisory role of Foreman as delegated or in absence.
3. Have recognized Trade Qualifications in Carpentry.
4. Demonstrate competency in carpentry work.
5. Have previous experience in the Construction Industry
6. Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
7. Assisting project managers with structural design, planning, layout, and installation.
8. Conduct repair work and installation of doors, windows, drywall, cabinets, stairs, and other fixtures as required.
9. Ability to assess the quality of woodwork and materials.
10. Ability to operate tools, machines, and other equipment.
11. Compliance with NZ building codes, and health and safety regulations.
12. Provide excellent customer service.
13. Ability to stand for prolonged periods, climb, pull, and lift heavy objects.
